Good health and well-being strongly depend on good nutrition, safe places, a strong community plus a good infrastructure, and hence, a place to call 'home'.

In its initial phase, the 'Green Deserts' project will mainly provide a place to work, food to consume, energy to export or sell.

Nevertheless, right from the start, some of the buildings could be used as hospitals, schools, meeting places, or accommodations for technical or scientifical personnel running and looking after the greenhouses.

In its re-use phase, greenhouses can be turned into safe homes, already equipped with clean energy and freshwater, and hopefully, with enough space at least for smaller families.
