Hunger is one of the main reasons for the native people to leave any devastated area.

The 'Green Deserts' project aims for increasing the amount of food available.

We want to ensure this by converting deserts soils, devastated by sunshine and the local climate over time, into fertile fabric. We want to ensure this by converting ocean waters into desalinated sweet water for growing food and for the local people.

If food and water supply is guaranteed, previously emigrated people might come home again. By also providing sufficient clean energy, high-tech housings, high-quality work, sustainable and stable sources of income, and a long-term perspective to literally make a living in the formerly devastated area, immigration should no longer be an option for the native people.
