The wholistic approach we want to propagate in here contains several building blocks.

The most critical building block is the transformation of desert sands into fertile fabric and the production of crops or, at least, any form of vegetation for carbon dioxide fixation.

For this, an import of manure from agro-industrial countries shall be foreseen in order to cover the need for natural nutrients and to denitricifate overfertilised soils concurrently.

In addition, desalination of sea water provides sweet water, at least to a minimum extent needed for irrigating crops or vegetation.

A final building block is the production of clean solar energy in gross.

We aim for the following on the environmental level:

  1. Solar energy will not be able to heat up bare soils and the atmosphere above, and hence, will no longer be wasted.

  2. Pure sand layers will be converted into a nutrient enriched soil fabric.

  3. If no crops can be planted, basic vegetation will be grown to absorb carbon dioxide and to be converted into an organic surface layer after a certain period.

  4. During the desalination of ocean waters, microplastics can be filtered out.

On a sociological level, we aim for:

  1. A clean and free source of energy provides enough electricity for the project and, if possible, local communities or even the open market.

  2. Converting desert areas into farmable land will provide a new source of food for local communities or even the open market.

  3. Desalination of sea water will provide a source of sweet water as well as a source of income by selling the filtered salt.

  4. Any of these sources can also be a source of income if it is able to provide any surplus.

  5. Any of these building blocks will necessitate well-educated personnel as well as workers with basic skills.

  6. The possible amount of food, energy, additional income, and high-quality work will be building blocks themselves for a strong and hopefully independent community.
