This map showing the presence of violence in 2022 is simply an invert of the WDI "Political Stability and Absence of Violence/Terrorism (PV)" which is capturing perceptions of the likelihood that the government will be destabilized or overthrown by unconstitutional or violent means, including politically‐motivated violence and terrorism.
